Dr. Taslim provides psychotherapy for a variety of concerns and for a diverse set of clients. She works with trauma, difficulties with mood, anxiety, emotions and relationships, life transition and adjustment, mental illness, and stress/burnout.
She does psychological assessments for the purpose of diagnostic clarification (psychodiagnostic), and to help individuals access workplace/school accommodations and community services (including psychoeducational assessments).
Given that Dr. Taslim is a registered psychologist, most private health insurance plans provide coverage for this service. She accepts payment by cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Therapy sessions are booked for one hour at a rate of $200.
She is registered with Medavie Blue Cross as a service provider (for RCMP, Veterans Affairs, Canadian Armed Forces, and refugees under the Interim Federal Health Program). She is also registered to provide services to Indigenous peoples through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program, through WSIB, and the Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP) for victims of crime.

There are a number of variables that affect pricing for training and consultation, such as group size, time commitment, and deliverables. All training and consultation services are tailored to the group and/or organization’s needs. Please consult with Dr. Taslim for rates for these services.
